Driving Your Cancer Care

We live in a world where you can search for a book and have it delivered the very same day. Groceries, cars, hotels, and flights—all visible and accessible, right from the palm of your hand. But when you need to find the best cancer treatment, this world of access simply doesn't exist. The way you access medical care hasn’t changed in over a hundred years. You go to the hospital or doctor’s office. You interact with a doctor. And that means the information you receive depends on where you go, who you see, and what they know. The reality is you don’t know all of your options. That’s unacceptable in the world today. And to make matters worse, the explosion of research has outpaced any single doctor’s ability to stay on top of the latest information let alone have the capacity to filter the best available cancer treatments for you. So what are you supposed to do? Become the Driver of your cancer care. We have recently partnered with an exciting new start-up called Driver that is focused on solving this problem of access and we encourage you to learn more about what they do! Driver is a first-in-kind consumer platform that connects cancer patients to the world’s largest and most advanced inventory of treatments. Their platform combines science and technology with the expertise of clinical staff, including oncologists and nurses and empathy of people who understand what you’re going through. Own your records and your unique clinical history, manage your care, and, if needed, request a second opinion or access the world’s largest inventory of cancer treatments—it’s like having a single doorway into a simultaneous evaluation at over 25 of the top cancer centers in the world. The best part is you don’t need to leave home to do any of it. Driver has just launched an invite-only Beta program for our community. If you join Driver during their Beta Program, you will be among the first pioneers of a new movement that enables patients to become the Driver of their care. They are not only giving our community early access, but would also like feedback about their messaging and services as well as any other insights that you’d like to share with them.
